Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) is important for nurses who want to improve their skills and knowledge. It provides a way for nurses to keep up with the latest medical practices and regulations. Taking CNE courses helps advance their careers and ensures safe patient care. Nurses also earn credits needed for renewing their licenses while adapting to changes in healthcare. As the field evolves, CNE remains a key part of nursing and professional growth.

Meet Lamiya
Lamiya Starling, DNP, APRN, AG-ACNP
Nurse Practitioner and Consultant
Hello, my name is Lamiya Starling, and I have proudly served as a registered nurse for the last two decades. For the past ten years, I have been practicing in the specialized role of an Intensivist Nurse Practitioner for a reputable medical group based in Dallas, Texas. I hold a deep passion for the field of critical care nursing, which continually motivates me to provide the best possible care for my patients. I embarked on my nursing journey in 1999, beginning my career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Through dedication and perseverance, I successfully graduated with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 2005. Additionally, I have achieved a Master’s Degree in Nursing and obtained a post-master’s certification as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. In 2023, I reached another significant milestone by completing my terminal degree in nursing with a Doctor of Nursing Practice. My primary goal is to assist you in navigating your own nursing journey, should that be an interest of yours. Alongside my personal support, I also offer continuing education courses designed to enhance your knowledge and skills. An e-book filled with valuable resources to help guide you through your nursing path will be available soon. Although we currently cannot provide Continuing Education Unit (CEU) hours, we are actively working on plans to offer this valuable resource in the near future.
